Stage 1 of the Flèche du Sud was a spectacular evening stage around Differdange, Luxembourg. André Steensen (Glud & Marstrand) won the 81km long stage, with Julian Kern, Joël Zangerle and Bob Jungels in the chasing group at 11 seconds.

Joël Zangerle has won the regional race in Ehlerange, Luxembourg. He attacked from an early breakaway group with five other LEOPARD TREK riders and soloed to the finish line.

Giorgio Brambilla took fourth place in the Pro Challenge Helchteren in Belgium. The Italian sprinter was part of a 15-riders break that formed after 30 kilometers. Jesus Ezquerra crashed, but without big injuries. Jelle Walays (Topsport Vlaanderen-Mercator) won the race.

LEOPARD TREK returns from the Giro del Friuli Venezia Giulia with more good performances on their record. Bob Jungels took second place overall, behind Diego Rose (Team Palazzago), and was the best young rider in the race. Davide Villella won the stage in a 1,2km uphill sprint.

Bob Jungels was the instigator of an interesting move in stage 4 of the Giro del Friuli. The 160 km stage was won by Davide Villella (Team Colpack).

Bob Jungels delivered on expectations today by taking seventh place on the 149 km long stage between Maniago and Pontebba-Passo Pramollo. He moves up to second place in the overall, 27 seconds behind the new leader, Diego Rosa (Team Palazzago).

Bob Jungels was part of a group of 28 that broke clear with 50K to go in the 164 kilometers stage 2 between Azzano Decimo and Pordenone. The young Luxembourger attacked with three K to go, only to be caught under the red flag. Matteo Collodel won the stage.

Fabio Silvestre took second place behind Italian Marco Benfatto in the photo finish sprint of stage 1 of the Giro del Friuli. "We took responsibility of the chase today and it's both good and disappointing to come in second."

The final stage of the Tour de Bretagne had a hard, cobbled climb at the end, which resulted in a test of strength for the GC contenders. Oliver Hofstetter was in the break of the day and Eugenio Alafaci was LEOPARD TREK's top finisher in sixth place.

They’ve tried the whole week but in the end it was smarter not to start any more. Alexandr Pliuschin and Joël Zangerle suffered already many days from diarrhea and decided not to start in Douarnenez.
