Biography

Besides being a bright prospect for Luxembourgish cycling, Joël Zangerle is also a student in Culture and Communication at the university of Nancy, France. There he holds the status of athlete, which allows him to combine and nurture the talents he holds. He was introduced to cycling via his older brother, who raced at a regional level and coached his young brother, who early on showed signs of future success. Eager to develop into a more complete athlete and support the team where needed, Zangerle is keen on performing well in the races that LEOPARD TREK will select him for. Joël: "I gained a lot of experience in the first season of LEOPARD TREK. It was a good season, especially after going through some personal bad weather in 2011. I'm really looking forward to what is to come."
