Boucles de la Mayenne underway after prologue

The French 2.2 stage race in the Pays de la Loire region has traditionally started with a prologue. The 4,5 km course in the city center of Laval is right up the street of the short-effort specialists. LEOPARD TREK performed well overall.

Spanish national Jesus Ezquerra was the best of the team finishers, in 54th place, 22 seconds behind stage winner Paul Poux of Saur-Sojasun. The other team members performed very similar, with five of our six riders finishing within 4 seconds difference.

Stage 1 of tomorrow is 187 km long and goes between Renault St-Berthevind and Lassay-les-Châteaux.
