Pliuschin misses out on victory by five centimeter
Alexandr Pliuschin was very close to victory in the Boucles de la Mayenne. The Moldavian champion was part of a break of seven that sprinted for the win. Nico Sijmens won the stage.

Break makes it to the finish in France
Stage 1 of the Boucles de la Mayenne was rainy race between St.-Berthevin and Lassay-les-Châteaux. Pirmin Lang and Renaud Dion were the last two remaining riders of a break of nine, with the former beating the latter in the sprint.
